Remember - Don Dellpiero

Synthwave/Dreamwave album cover created for Don Dellpiero. The keywords were nostalgia, memories, fantasy, music, warmth. It's was a tribute album to 80's heroes like Patrick Swayze. I tried to design it with a strong background shape, almost making it glow when you look at it it as a thumbnail. The rectangular background shape is a throwback to the open door on the Close Encounters cover. The energy moving upwards from the walkman use circular shapes giving it some dynamics and movement. It also has elements inspired from Norse mythology around the head. The 3D character was exported from DAZ Studio and rendered in Octane. Everything else was painted in Photoshop, including most of the hair, skin texture and the wire.
